Diversity Health Mobile Application (DIV App)

DIV successfully developed and launched DIV APP, a game-changing innovation aimed at providing accessible sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information in Sign Language and connecting Deaf youth and refugees in Uganda to friendly Health services.

The DIV App bridges the communication gap that often prevents Deaf individuals from accessing critical health information and services, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

Sign Language Training

We provide free and paid sign language courses targeted at health workers, police, caregivers, and the public to bridge communication gaps and promote inclusion and understanding. Our sign language training programs are designed to break down communication barriers between Deaf individuals and the wider community.

Mental Health Support

Our pilot initiative leverages mobile technology to connect persons with disabilities and refugees with mental health counsellors for accessible, digital support. Mental health challenges can be particularly acute for persons with disabilities and refugees, who often face additional barriers to accessing support services.

Through this program, we aim to make mental health support more accessible, breaking down geographical, physical, and communication barriers.
